Giving The Cancer Resource Centre offers all of its services free of charge to the community. The Centre is funded from donations and grants, in-kind donations and volunteer support. Start-up donations were generously contributed by: Community Hospital Auxiliary, Community Hospital Medical Staff, Lake County Medical Staff, NetNitco and Community Hospital. Contributions to the Cancer Resource Centre will help patients, their families and friends find the resources and support to cope with the complexities of cancer care. Consider giving a gift of hope - all donations to the Resource Centre are tax-deductible. Nearly $114,000 was raised. The top contributing teams were: 1st place—Lake Surgical Center, 2nd place—Community Surgery Center and 3rd place - Berglund Construction.
